Aviation disclaimer and limitation of liability

FlightScore / SkyView is a decision-support tool only. It is not an official weather briefing, not a substitute for FAA-approved sources, not flight planning software certified for IFR or commercial operations, and not legal or aeronautical advice.

Pilot in command

Under 14 CFR 91.3(a), the pilot in command is directly responsible for the operation of the aircraft and may deviate from any rule to the extent necessary to meet that emergency. Nothing in FlightScore limits, replaces, or overrides that authority. Any score, color band, or automated text is a non-authoritative briefing aid only.

Weather, NOTAMs, and data

METARs, TAFs, PIREPs, SIGMETs/AIRMETs, winds aloft, forecasts, and NOTAMs may be delayed, incomplete, incorrect, or misinterpreted by automated parsing or third-party APIs. Always obtain a complete preflight briefing from official sources (for example 1800wxbrief.com, FSS, or your EFB’s certified weather products) and comply with 14 CFR and your operating limitations.

Maps and navigation

Charts, map tiles, frequencies, runway data, and route depictions are for general situational awareness only. They may not match current publications. Verify all navigation and communication data against current FAA charts, NOTAMs, and facility directories before flight.

AI and scoring

Any AI-generated text, risk scores, or recommendations are heuristic and may be wrong. You are the pilot in command. You are solely responsible for all go/no-go decisions, regulatory compliance, and safe operation of the aircraft.
